Owlacombe
Cottage is an old stone building recently converted in 2005 to a cosy
holiday let for 2 or a family of 3. The cottage is part of Pollardscombe, a working farm of Pedigree
South Devon Cattle and Suffolk Sheep.
Situated in
the heart of the beautiful South Hams countryside, Owlacombe
cottage is set beside a gentle running stream and pond which runs
down to Slapton Ley a renowned conservation and wildlife area. The
quiet village of Slapton is approximately one mile away. There are
two very old pubs, a thirteenth century church and a village store
stocking most day to day requirements. |

Accommodation
The cottage
comprises of the ground floor with kitchen area including cooker,
toaster, kettle, washing machine/ tumble dryer, fridge, iron and
ironing board. Lounge area
with television, video player, with a selection of videos, two
seater settee and chair which will pull out to a make a single bed.
Downstairs
bathroom includes toilet, basin, heated towel rail and electric
shower. Oak staircase
leads to a double bedroom with comfortable pocket sprung 5ft bed.
Accommodation
includes all bed linen, hairdryer, towels apart from beach towels.
Heating is provided by electric convection heaters. All
electricity is included in the Tariff. There is a
lawn and patio area for relaxing or dining by the pond, and
is therample
room for car parking. On arrival a welcome pack includes tea, coffee, milk and a homemade cake. Owlacombe has
a no pets & no smoking policy.
Guests are
welcome to arrive after 2pm on Saturdays and are asked to vacate
Owlacombe Cottage by 9-30am on the day of departure.

A deposit of
£100 per week is to be paid on confirmation of the booking and
the balance due four weeks before arrival. Directions will be
given when bookings are made.
